Maybe someone else feels the same way I do. Maybe there are other people who are weary from wearing masks, uttering the right words, dressing to fit someone else's code, smiling and serving when all they want to do is lay in a heap and cry. I'm not the only one who sometimes dreads coming to church where everyone attempts, in vain, to fit the same mold" and more that the church doesn't actually seem to truly want to follow Jesus, but rather a figment of Him. IMO, there aren't near enough Christians trying to fit Christ's mold and that's a scary thing. There are way too many of us trying to fit a certain conference speaker's mold or a popular book's mold or the popular Christan positive speech (each other.) A mold is good, but it's got to be the right one... We've traded places with Christ and we wear Him, not another mask.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
